Kimberlee Habel-Moeser

   — Me

I painted myself in the colors I felt — bright, unguarded, alive in the moment. The sun, the laughter, the motion of the day all found their way into the brushstrokes. This portrait isn’t about likeness alone; it’s a glimpse of who I was in that instant, a flash of joy and presence caught in my own reflection.

I reached out to the Initiative to offer the piece, and Mr. Stevenson sent a gracious note in retur

  — My Father‑in‑Law  'HANK'

I painted him the way I’ve come to know him — steady, thoughtful, and shaped by a lifetime of stories that settle gently in the lines of his face. There’s a quiet strength in his gaze, a sense of wisdom earned rather than claimed. This portrait is my tribute to that presence, to the man who stands at the heart of our family with grace and quiet certainty.
